Michaela S. Waisman
Michaela Waisman earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Iowa in 2002. After graduation, she spent time working in information technology before attending law school. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Phoenix School of Law in 2012. After graduation, she worked for a Phoenix boutique law firm specializing in online defamation, technology law, and medical malpractice. Ms. Waisman obtained her Colorado license in 2015.
During law school, Ms. Waisman interned for the Arizona Supreme Court in several departments. First, she interned directly for the Clerk of the Court on specialized legal research issues. She then transitioned to interning for the Staff Attorneys Office, reviewing, assessing, and summarizing Petitions for Review. Finally, she interned with Education Services where she had the opportunity to assist with content and curriculum development to train incoming judges. She also worked as a research assistant, for her law school, in the field of data privacy and as a teaching assistant for contract law.
In her off hours, Ms. Waisman enjoys running, hot yoga, and learning about advances in technology. She is passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience and enjoys the detailed driven nature and pace of Worker’s Compensation Defense.
